Christmas Tree Adventure

Yesterday we had the adventure of the winter.  We went to cut down out Christmas tree, with some great friends.  We got vehicles stuck in feet of snow, we were digging out the cars in a blizzard, and the kids said it was the best time of the entire year.

Cute Autumn Couple Shoot

I had the opportunity this weekend to shoot a fun, cute, married couple, Izabel and Adam from Salt Lake area.  They were so fun to shoot.  They are both full of amazing, vibrant, personalities.  The weather was a little chili and breezy, but we still had a lot of fun.  We also did a few pictures of just Izabel that she could use for her portfolio.  Hope you like the little preview.

The Mark of a Diver

As some of you may know, my 10 year old is a diver.  He dives about 4 to 5 times a week, for about 2 hours a day.  It is his life and his passion.  This past week he was diving off of the 5 Meter platform.  He over rotated and smacked.   He hit pretty hard.  He was in a lot of pain, but after a few minutes or so, he climbed back up the stairs to perform another dive off the platform.  I am so proud of him and can only imagine his pain and the courage it took to go back up there.  He truly is a warrior!  Here is the results of the smack, this is not makeup it is the real deal, not to mention he is also bruised on his back.  This is the mark of a diver!

Are you ready for the Holidays?

This is such crazy time of the year, and I love it.  I love to see, read, and hear, what people are grateful for.  I love to see people love and serve one another a little more then normal.  I love being with my family and friends.  Life is so wonderful and I am blessed to be reminded of it all the time.  Hopefully instead of getting wrapped up in the chaos, we can wrap ourselves in the blessing that surround us.

Early Snow

“Play is the highest form of research.” – Albert Einstein

We have early snow out here in Utah and I decided to take my kids out of school a little early today so they could have a chance to play in it before it melts.  In know that some people will consider me a bad mom for this. Sometimes our lives are so overwhelming we need to take a break from it and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us.  I find that I can think much clearer after a little play time in mother nature.

Fall Family Photos

Family--Where life begins and love never ends--unknown author

Had the chance to take photos of this amazing family this weekend.  I just love the energy of little kids.  I love when kids are kids and are their true beautiful selves in front of the camera.

Senior Photo fun

I have known this beautiful young lady since she was about 12.  I can not believe what a beautiful, fun, charismatic, humorous, young woman she has turned into.  She enjoys life to its fullest and is always fun to be around.  I am honored that I had the opportunity to take some Senior portraits of her.
